My parents, Janie and Bob Anderson were lifelong educators. Janie taught first and second grade for 23 years in Elbow Lake, MN. Bob was a high school principal, superintendent and taught math and science classes over the course of his 35 year career in the field of education.

After they retired they enjoyed traveling around the globe and connected with relatives in Norway and Germany. They taught me to be curious and it is my hope that this scholarship will help students pursue their questions about our world through the many classes available to them at Concordia.

The Janie and Bob Anderson Endowed Scholarship in STEM is awarded by the Office of Financial Aid to students of any class majoring in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
