In 1869 the Sethre family ancestors left Norway for America and settled in Ottertail County to homestead where they became dairy farmers. As the family thrived and dispersed the family became convinced of the value of a college education. As a fifth-generation Sethre and appreciating the hard work and sacrifices that made a Concordia College education possible, we wish to establish this scholarship to help others achieve this goal. My life has been enriched because I am a Cobber.
