Established on 11.07.1999 by members of the Raymond Tunheim family
The Raymond and Lucille Tunheim Memorial Endowed Scholarship is awarded by the Office of Financial Aid to students from rural communities in northwestern Minnesota. Preference is given to qualified graduates of Marshall County Central High School in Newfolden, Minnesota or, if such high school no longer exists, then preference is given to qualified students who have been raised in the communities of Newfolden, Holt, or Viking in Marshall County, Minnesota. Selection is based on financial need and scholastic achievement.
