Here's everything you need to know about attending the 2024 Concordia Christmas Concert, “Our Eyes, At Last, Shall See Him.”

When are the concert dates for the Moorhead Christmas Concert?

The concerts will be performed at Memorial Auditorium on the campus of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, on the following dates:

7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6
2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7
2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8

How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets will be on sale starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the Memorial Auditorium Box Office, located in the Offutt Concourse on 12th Avenue South on the campus of Concordia College in Moorhead. Box office hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday starting Oct. 29.

Tickets for the Moorhead concert may be purchased online, in person, by phone at 888.477.0277 (during box office hours), or by mail. Tickets are $25 plus handling fees. *Credit cards accepted include Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

Are there group discounts?

Groups of 20 or more will receive a 20 percent discount. Group orders may be placed online or by calling 888.477.0277 after Oct. 29.

Is there wheelchair seating available?

If you need wheelchair seating, please call 888.477.0277 during box office hours after Oct. 29.

Ushers will be available to assist with seating and the placement of wheelchairs or walkers. Those with limited mobility should consider a floor chair or a lower row number in the elevated seating. There is no elevator.

Can I bring children?

These are family-friendly concerts, but please know that the atmosphere is similar to a worship service with no applause between pieces. The concert length is approximately 90 minutes. Those with young children are encouraged to secure an aisle seat. Sharing a seat with a child is not allowed. No childcare is provided. All tickets are $25.

What should I do if I lost or forgot my ticket?

Do not worry! Come to the box office and we can have it reprinted for you. The box office opens one hour before each concert.

What can I do with my ticket that won’t be used?

We have a no refunds or exchanges policy. We’d be happy to accept your extra ticket at the box office window. Thank you for understanding our effort to allow as many people as possible to experience this popular Christmas celebration.

Refunds/Cancellation

No refunds or exchanges will be given for any unused or returned ticket.

The box office opens one hour before each concert. This is where you can pick up your tickets for will call.

Planning Your Evening

When should I arrive at the concert?

We suggest that you arrive at least 20-30 minutes early to allow yourself enough time to park, find your seat, and enjoy the handbell choir music before the concert begins! Box office and venue doors will open one hour before each performance. Any late arrivals will be held at the door for 20 minutes while the performers move in and the concert starts. After that time, ushers will walk with you to your specific seat.

What is the best route to drive to Concordia’s campus?

The concert is held on the Concordia College campus in Moorhead, Minnesota, located at 901 8th St. S. The building is called Memorial Auditorium. Find more information here about getting to campus.

What are my parking options?

View a parking map that shows parking options on campus. You do not need a parking pass during these times. 

The closest places to park are in the lots labeled “G4”  and “G5,” located south of 12th Avenue South and across from Olson Forum and Memorial Auditorium.

The parking lots labeled “G3” to the southwest of Memorial Auditorium will be designated entirely for handicapped parking.

You may also park on any of the nearby streets. Please abide by any street signs that are posted. If there are open spots in any other lot on campus, feel free to use them.

Once I enter, can I leave and return?

Yes, but you must show your ticket to re-enter. Please remember that if you are not seated when the concert begins, you will have to wait until 20 minutes into the program before being allowed to go back to your seat.

How long is the performance?

The concert length is 90 minutes.

Is there a dress code?

There is no required dress code, although you will see many attendees in their beautiful Scandinavian sweaters. Feel free to join in on the fun!

Can I take pictures or record video?

We ask that no flash photos be taken. There is no video recording allowed.

Where is the closest ATM?

The closest ATM on campus is located in the Knutson Campus Center, north of Memorial Auditorium. This building is about a five-minute walk from the concert venue.

Food/Beverage

There will be no food or beverages of any kind allowed in Memorial Auditorium.

Minneapolis Christmas Concert at Orchestra Hall

The 2024 Concordia Christmas Concert “Our Eyes, At Last, Shall See Him” will be performed at Orchestra Hall at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12.

Tickets will be on sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29. To purchase tickets for the Orchestra Hall concerts, call 800.292.4141 or purchase online on the Minnesota Orchestra website.

Tickets can also be purchased at the Orchestra Hall box office, open from noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Ticket prices are $38, $32, and $28, plus facility and handling fees.
