History of Concordia Choir Camp

Founded in 1969 by Mark Aamot as the Minnesota All-State Lutheran Choir, during its 50+ years, this camp has afforded students the opportunity to perform in approximately 150 venues throughout the state. Following Aamot, Dr. Thomas Rossin conducted and guided the ensemble and more than 1,450 alumni singers for 26 years. Dr. Michael Culloton now serves as the artistic director of the organization.

In June, the choir assembles at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Here, the singers participate in many days of rehearsal, classes, and social activities on campus and in the Fargo-Moorhead community.
