Concordia music, arts, and theatre events scheduled for Fall 2026

Concordia College will present a variety of music ensemble performances, art exhibits, and theatrical shows in the fall semester of the 2026-27 academic year.

Most Concordia musical ensemble concerts are free and open to the public; some guest performances are ticketed, as are theatre performances in the Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre.

The Cyrus M. Running Gallery is open and free to attend from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. It is closed for academic breaks from Oct. 19-23, Nov. 25-29, and Dec. 17-Jan. 6.

September

• “eddy line,” an art show by Erika Terwilliger, a Minneapolis visual artist, Tuesday, Sept. 1, through Thursday, Oct. 1, Cyrus M. Running Gallery. A public reception will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, with artist remarks at 4:30 p.m.
• “The Brontë Sisters: Retrospection,” a guest performance of a one-act musical play about the literary sisters, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, Christiansen Recital Hall.
• Faith, Reason, and World Affairs Symposium, “Passion to Purpose: How Vocation Shapes Wellness and Meaning,” with keynote speaker Dr. Bonnie J. • “The History of Guitars: A Lecture Concert,” 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, Centrum, Knutson Campus Center. Markus Krueger of the Clay County Historical Society and musicians Pat Lenertz and friends will present a history of guitars through words, pictures, and music. This program is offered free and open to the public, thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Legacy Fund.

  • At a PRISM concert, musicians and visual elements surround the audience, providing an immersive experience.
  • Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children and students. Concordia students, faculty, and staff get in for free with their ID. Tickets will go on sale in mid-October.
