Fireworks, parade, and concert set for Concordia Homecoming
The community is invited to celebrate Concordia College’s 2026 Homecoming Thursday, Oct. 8, through Sunday, Oct. 11, at multiple locations on and off-campus.
The week, themed “Boot Scootin’ & Cobb Rootin’,” includes numerous events geared toward Concordia alumni — class reunions, tours, and banquets for the Alumni Achievement Awards and Athletic Hall of Fame Awards — as well as a number of community events open to the public.

Cobber 5K Fun Run and Kids’ Niblet 1 Mile
Memorial Auditorium
Registration is from 7 to 8 a.m. in Memorial Auditorium, with the Cobber 5K for all ages starting at 8:30 a.m. and the Kids’ Niblet Mile for children age 12 and younger starting at 9:30 a.m. Register early at https://runsignup.com/Race/MN/Moorhead/Cobber5k.
Homecoming Parade
11 a.m. route from the Townsite Center on Eighth Street near McDonalds to Jake Christiansen Stadium.
Cobber Homecoming Tailgating
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. south side of Jake Christiansen Stadium
Cobbers vs. Hamline Football Game
1 p.m., Jake Christiansen Stadium
Tickets are available at the game or online. During halftime, the 2026 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized.
Homecoming Concert
6:30 p.m. Memorial Auditorium
Hear three Cobber powerhouses perform — The Concordia Band, The Concordia Choir, and The Concordia Orchestra. Tickets can be purchased online at $10 for adults, $5 for students, and free for Concordia students, faculty, and staff.
