CELEBRATE LOCAL FOODS AT THE EIGHTH ANNUAL
100-MILE THANKSGIVING FARMERS MARKET AT CONCORDIA

Concordia College will host its eighth annual 100-Mile Thanksgiving Farmers Market from 3-6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, in the atrium of the Knutson Campus Center.

The 100-mile market is made possible with support from Prairie Roots Food Cooperative as an opportunity to provide the community with ways to support local farmers after the regular farmers market season has ended. The 17 local vendors at this year’s market will make it easy for families to buy ingredients for their Thanksgiving and holiday meals. Most products featured at this market will be freshly harvested, locally sourced and sustainable. Items for sale will include seasonal and organically grown fruits and vegetables, as well as some gift items. Fresh and local items to look for at the market include: a variety of squashes, potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, mushrooms, oats, eggs, breads and baked goods, apples, fresh-pressed apple cider, hand-crafted soaps and candles, honey, sustainably crafted ceramics and much more.

Prairie Roots Food Co-Op is dedicated to building a health community by providing access to natural, organic and locally produced food. For more information, visit prairie-roots.coop.
