CONCORDIA CULTURAL EVENTS PRESENTS

CHARLIE ALBRIGHT IN CONCERT

American pianist/composer Charlie Albright will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, in Christiansen Recital Hall, Hvidsten Hall of Music.

Albright has been praised for his “jaw-dropping technique and virtuosity meshed with a distinctive musicality” (The New York Times). He regularly works with artists from all genres, including vocalist/conductor Bobby McFerrin, violinist Joshua Bell and revered cellist Yo-Yo Ma. His debut recording, “Vivace,” sold thousands of copies and the first of a three-part “Schubert Series” was released in 2017. His compositions and improvisations have been likened to “great Romantic-era composer-pianists” by Classical Source and praised as “thrilling” by the DC Metro Theatre Arts.

Tickets for the performance are $20 for adult general admission and $10 for students under 18. For tickets, visit ConcordiaTickets.com or call the Office of Cultural Events at (218) 299-4366.
