CHRIS STEDMAN TO SPEAK AT CONCORDIA

Concordia’s Forum on Faith and Life, in partnership with the religion department, presents Chris Stedman as the speaker for the Religion Enrichment Lecture at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. Stedman is a humanist community organizer, interfaith activist, and an engaging and dynamic speaker.

Stedman, author of “Faitheist: How an Atheist Found Common Ground with the Religious,” is also the founder of the Humanist Center of Minnesota. Formerly the founding executive director of the Yale Humanist Community and a fellow at Yale University, Stedman also worked as a humanist chaplain at Harvard and a content developer for the Interfaith Youth Core. He has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, PBS, and Fox News and has written for several publications including The Atlantic and The Washington Post.
