CONCORDIA CELEBRATES MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY

Concordia College will be reflecting on the life and influence of Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, Jan. 21.

Events throughout the day include keynote speeches at 10:30 a.m. from Tara Setmayer, political commentator and former GOP communications director; and at 2:30 p.m. from Frank Leon Roberts, educator and political organizer on the frontlines of the Black Lives Matter movement. A panel discussion at 7 p.m. includes the keynote speakers joined by Dr. Edward Valandra, advisor to Living Justice Press and founder and Research Fellow for the Community for the Advancement of Native Studies; and Dr. Faith Ngunjiri, director of Concordia’s Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work.
