Concordia College celebrates Homecoming Oct. 13-15
Public events include bonfire, fireworks, and parade

MOORHEAD, Minn. — Concordia College will welcome alumni back to campus during Homecoming 2023 Oct. 13-15. The theme this year is “Home Is Where the Harvest Is.”

Homecoming is an annual event that encourages alumni to join in the festivities with current students, faculty, staff, and friends, celebrating Cobber traditions and building new ones. The public is invited to join the celebration, including the traditional parade, bonfire, and fireworks display.

The bonfire will begin at 8:45 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 12, at Jake Christiansen Stadium, followed by the fireworks show.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 14, on Eighth Street in Moorhead. The route starts from Townsite Center near McDonald’s and ends at Jake Christiansen Stadium.

The weekend events also include the Homecoming Banquet, reunions, football, the Homecoming concert, and presidential inauguration.

Brock Rossell, a senior from Horace, N.D., chairs this year’s 32-member committee.
