Concordia College shows faculty art

MOORHEAD — The public is invited to Concordia College’s annual Faculty Art Exhibition, which will run from Tuesday, Jan. 23, to Sunday, Feb. 18, in the Cyrus M. Running Gallery at Concordia College.

The show features the work of Concordia’s own Ross Hilgers, professor of ceramics, Jess Matson-Fluto, assistant professor of drawing, painting, and 2D foundations, Chris Mortenson, associate professor of art, Dr. Danielle Gravon, adjunct instructor of digital design, and Dwight Mickelson, adjunct instructor of 3D/sculpture.

Faculty members work in a variety of media including clay, oil, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

A public reception from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, will include artists’ remarks beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The Running Gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
