Concordia to Hold Virtual Commencement Celebration

CONCORDIA TO HOLD VIRTUAL COMMENCEMENT CELEBRATION

Concordia will hold a virtual commencement celebration at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 3. More than 450 students are scheduled to graduate at the end of the academic year.

Virtual Commencement will include addresses by President William Craft, class speakers Prashansha Maharjan and Elly Schaefer, and the invited guest speaker, Dr. Lynn Pasquerella, president of the Association of American Colleges and Universities. 

Pasquerella has served as president for the AAC&U since 2016. She is a philosopher who combined teaching and scholarship with local and global engagement. She is a graduate of Quinebaug Valley Community College, Mount Holyoke College, and Brown University. Pasquerella has written extensively on medical ethics, metaphysics, public policy, and the philosophy of law.

An in-person celebration for the graduating seniors is being planned for a later date still to be determined.
