LORENTZSEN CENTER LUNCHEON

The Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work, part of the Concordia College Offutt School of Business, will hold an upcoming luncheon “Conscious Leadership.” The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Barry Auditorium, Concordia College. The speaker is Jodee Bock.

Bock will speak about conscious leadership – how to engage in leadership that is purposeful, authentic and mindful.

Bock, a 1985 Concordia graduate, founded Bock’s Office Transformational Consulting and provides customized workshops and seminars in leadership, communication and accountability. An English and communications major at Concordia, she was an All-American basketball player and is a member of Concordia’s Athletic Hall of Fame. The author of several books, Bock also sings in a barbershop chorus and is head scorekeeper for North Dakota State University men’s and women’s basketball teams.

The cost for the luncheon is $25 per person. Please RSVP by Friday, Feb. 1, online at ConcordiaCollege.edu/businessevents or by calling (218) 299-3305.

The Lorentzsen Center honors the life and work of Norman M. Lorentzsen. He was an esteemed philanthropist, former CEO of Burlington Northern, alumnus of Concordia and former member and chair of its Board of Regents. The center identifies and sustains ethical values and practices in individuals and organizations. It builds on the tradition and practices of the Center for Ethical Leadership.
