LORENTZSEN CENTER LUNCHEON

The Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work, part of the Concordia College Offutt School of Business, will hold an upcoming luncheon “Collaborative Leadership for Building Community.” The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, March 10, at Barry Auditorium in Grant Center, Concordia College. The speaker is Kristi Huber, president for United Way of Cass-Clay.

Huber, a 1998 alumna of Concordia College, has a wide range of both for profit and nonprofit management experience. She earned her MBA from University of Mary, Bismarck, N.D. She previously served as the United Way’s resource development director and as a volunteer for the campaign.

The Lorentzsen Center honors the life and work of Norman M. Lorentzsen. He was an esteemed philanthropist, former CEO of Burlington Northern, alumnus of Concordia and former member and chair of its Board of Regents. The center identifies and sustains ethical values and practices in individuals and organizations. It builds on the tradition and practices of the Center for Ethical Leadership.
