INTERNATIONAL NEGOTIATION EXPERT TO LEAD EXECUTIVE CLASS AT CONCORDIA COLLEGE

Professor Stuart Diamond will bring his internationally acclaimed negotiation model, “Getting More,” to Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., in May.

Diamond will give a two-day seminar on “The Art of Negotiation: Getting More,” May 15-16. This executive education course is intended for business leaders who want to hone their negotiation skills with one of the best negotiation professors. Seminar participants will be asked to submit their biggest negotiation challenge and each participant will get to work on their specific topic.

Diamond has trained more than 30,000 people in 50 different countries including participants from Google, Microsoft, the National Football League, the U.N. and U.S. Military Special Operations Forces. He has assisted with high-profile negotiations including the Bhopal incident and the 2008 Hollywood Writers Strike.

This seminar will help participants learn to negotiate based on humanistic approaches by stating goals, understanding the opposition, embracing differences and dealing with human defense mechanisms. The course also includes one post-course private coaching session with Diamond to refine your negotiation skills.

This program is part of the Concordia College Executive Education program, which combines prominent industry and academic talent to provide managers with practical, real-world skills to advance in their leadership.

Registration for this two-day course is online at ConcordiaCollege.edu/negotiation.
