LORENTZSEN CENTER LUNCHEON

The Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work, part of the Concordia College Offutt School of Business, will hold an upcoming luncheon “Spiritual Leadership.” The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at Barry Auditorium, Concordia College. The speaker is Dr. Lonnie Pederson.

Pederson, executive director of the Jeremiah Program Fargo-Moorhead Marcine and Louise Campus, previously served as director of the Master of Arts in Leadership (MAL) Program at the University of Jamestown, Fargo Campus, and continues to teach there as an adjunct professor. She has more than 20 years of various nonprofit leadership experience including human services, healthcare, and higher education (including Concordia College).

Pederson interviewed several leaders in our community and will share insights about their journeys at the intersection of faith and leadership.

The Lorentzsen Center honors the life and work of Norman M. Lorentzsen. He was an esteemed philanthropist, former CEO of Burlington Northern, alumnus of Concordia and former member and chair of its Board of Regents. The center identifies and sustains ethical values and practices in individuals and organizations. It builds on the tradition and practices of the Center for Ethical Leadership.
