OCTOBER LORENTZSEN CENTER LUNCHEON 

The Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work, part of the Concordia College Offutt School of Business, will hold an upcoming luncheon “Leadership & Transitions.” The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Barry Auditorium, Concordia College. The speakers are Paul Richard and Lauris Molbert.

Richard is a retired executive vice president of Sanford Health, Fargo, who began his career at St. Luke’s Hospital (now Sanford). After working as a quality review nurse, he received his juris doctor degree and practiced law for 20 years. Richard was appointed general counsel of MeritCare Health in 1998 and after the Sanford merger, was named chief legal officer.

Molbert is executive chair and member of Investment Committee of Kilbourne Group, a real estate developer located in Fargo. Molbert previously served as CEO and chair of TMI Hospitality, Inc., headquartered in Fargo; and served as the COO and executive vice president of Otter Tail Corporation. He is a licensed attorney and certified public accountant.

The Lorentzsen Center honors the life and work of Norman M. Lorentzsen. He was an esteemed philanthropist, former CEO of Burlington Northern, alumnus of Concordia and former member and chair of its Board of Regents. The center identifies and sustains ethical values and practices in individuals and organizations.
