LORENTZSEN CENTER LUNCHEON

The Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work, part of the Concordia College Offutt School of Business, will hold an upcoming luncheon “Leadership Through Turbulent Times.” The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Barry Auditorium, Concordia College. The speaker is Jessica Thomasson.

Thomasson is president and CEO of Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota, and Lutheran Social Services Housing Inc. – two nonprofit corporations that help people and communities across the state of North Dakota. She was previously responsible for creating the organization’s affordable housing subsidiary, which develops, owns and manages affordable rental housing in rural communities.

Thomasson will share from her experience leading Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota through challenging seasons.

The cost for the luncheon is $25 per person. Please RSVP by Friday, Sept. 1, online at ConcordiaCollege.edu/businessevents or by calling (218) 299-3305.

The Lorentzsen Center honors the life and work of Norman M. Lorentzsen. He was an esteemed philanthropist, former CEO of Burlington Northern, alumnus of Concordia and former member and chair of its Board of Regents. The center identifies and sustains ethical values and practices in individuals and organizations. It builds on the tradition and practices of the Center for Ethical Leadership.
