CONCORDIA STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS SPONSOR

ACT OF KINDNESS OR GIVE BACK OPPORTUNITY

Three Concordia student organizations are sponsoring an opportunity to pay-it-forward to benefit the Evangelical Lutheran School of Hope, Ramallah, Palestine. Coffee at Babb’s Coffee House from noon- 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 29, is free thanks to the three student groups. You can choose to take the cup of coffee as an act of kindness or you can pay for it, and perhaps a bit more, to benefit the school in Ramallah.

Along with the free coffee or “Give Back” option, patrons will have the opportunity to hear about the efforts of the students from the School of Hope to cultivate their school grounds in sustainable ways and how these funds will assist them. Concordia students traveled to Israel and Palestine during mid-semester break. Money collected that day will help pay for a new irrigation system at the school. Babb’s is located at 604 Main Ave., Fargo.

The event is sponsored by Concordia’s Cobbers in Action, Student Environmental Alliance, and Campus Ministry Commission.
