STUDENTS CROWNED HOMECOMING

ROYALTY AT CONCORDIA COLLEGE

Seniors Corinne Burrell and Andrew Johnson have been elected by the student body at Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., to reign as 2017 Homecoming Queen and King during homecoming week Sept. 29-Oct. 1. Johnson is the son of Brett and Rachel Johnson, Foxhome, Minn., and Burrell is the daughter of Terry and Ann Burrell, Moorhead, Minn.

This year’s homecoming theme is "All Rows Lead Home.” Homecoming events that take place during Homecoming Week include a bonfire and fireworks, a parade, football game and a Homecoming Concert.

Members of the royal court, all from the class of 2018, are Ryan Walla, the son of Robert and Dawn Walla, Billings, Mont.; David Schneck, the son of David and Karen Schneck, Fergus Falls, Minn.; Erik Sneltjes, the son of Craig and Heidi Sneltjes, Shoreview, Minn.; and Tyler Eliason, the son of Steven Eliason, Bloomington, Minn.; Summer Hayes, the daughter of Eric and Angela Hayes, Fargo, N.D.; Natalie Rivera, the daughter of Jose and Maria Rivera, Owatonna, Minn.; Bailey Hovland, Lyle and Jill Hovland, Willmar, Minn.; and Reyna Bergstrom, the daughter of Lance and Ruth Bergstrom, Horace, N.D.

Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering more than 50 majors, including 15 honors majors and 12 preprofessional programs.
