Concordia’s Campus Events Commission will keep you entertained all through the year with their trivia nights, movie nights, open mic nights, grocery bingo, guest comedians and musicians, and off-campus adventures to places like Skate City and Sky Zone. Saturday night luau, anyone?

2. Take a Dip

Wash away the winter blues with a swim in the pool. The Concordia pool is a private facility and only open to faculty, staff, students and alumni. Dive in during open swim hours, warm up with a few laps in the lanes or sweat your stress away in the sauna.

3. Head Downtown

Unique boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, galleries and theatres await you in downtown Fargo, just a few minutes from campus. Be sure to check out the Coffee and Cocoa Crawl to sample the best cups of hot chocolate in town.

4. Cheer On Your Teams

Students get free admission to all Cobber athletic events. Cheer on your friends in Cobber hockey, basketball, swimming and diving, wrestling, tennis, or track and field. Watch the Super Bowl on the big screen in Barry Auditorium or venture out to Scheels Arena to take in a Fargo Force hockey game.

5. Get Outside

Do you want to build a snowman? Or maybe ice skating is more your speed. Fargo-Moorhead is home to public skating rinks, cross country ski trails and even a couple sledding hills. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy a weekend of winter celebration at the annual North of Normal Frostival event. Join in on snow yoga, cardboard sled races, fun runs, curling events, or even enter your team in the snow kickball tournament.
