It was my first step to the real language world, being a global teacher, and so much more.

Kari H.
It gave me the opportunity to meet people across the world and experience different cultures and practices. My professors were not only my teachers, they were my mentors, encouraging and challenging me to reach deeper into myself. I learned more about myself and set goals for how I was going to be a change in the world. I will always be thankful for my experiences at Concordia then as well as now – always trying to better myself. Plus...who wouldn’t want a corn cob as our mascot! Soli Deo gloria!

Kelly H.
Whenever I have a chance to spend time with fellow Cobbers, I always leave feeling encouraged and refreshed. Concordia also reinforced how important it is to use my gifts to serve others, no matter what setting I am in, it is something I try to remember each day.

Kristen R. D.
I met lifelong friends who became family and got to participate in so many parts of campus life that enriched my intellect, faith and relationships. From being a student athlete to participating in Sunday Night at East, chapel, hosting Bible studies and the best roommates a girl could ask for. Also, because I had rich, personal relationships with many of my professors and advisors.

Erica H. M.
Even though I graduated 12 years ago, when I visit Moorhead and Concordia, it still feels like home.

Helmut G. S.
Both of my daughters met wonderful people there, graduated, and were inspired to go and earn doctoral degrees and teach at the university level, here and abroad.

Sally N. M.
Whenever I come back to campus, I always feel as though I've come home. It is a place of peace for me.

Crystal L. P.
The wonderful people I have met and made some sort of impact on my life, the many doors and opportunities it opened for me and a beautiful place to call home.

Katy R.
It is one of my all time favorite places to be, and the amazing opportunities that this campus gives me are endless.

Brent C.
My time there set the bar for me ethically and scientifically. Without their profound influence on me, I might not have found my calling as a physicist. I owe to them a debt that I can neither express nor repay (stole that from you, Dr. Dovre).

Kalena T.
I get the chance to be a part of a great community that offers great academic and music programs.

Kenneth B.
It was part of my son’s formation and education into becoming a caring, Christian person who looks beyond himself to help others!

Anne Beck
My education has helped open so many doors to new opportunities and because of the life-long friends I made while in school.

Nathan L.
I’m thankful to be part of the Concordia community because it has kept me in contact with some of the most influential and longest lasting friendships in my life.

It’s like one big insanely wonderful supportive family!

I never have to wear a watch when I'm near campus! The Campanile keeps me on schedule. Love it.

Grace B.
The connections! Cobbers are EVERYWHERE. So fun to be part of such a legacy.

It’s the best place for my son to grow and explore new horizons.

Alison T.
The amazing musicians. I enjoy the shows so much. So proud of our daughter. Great choice of college for her.

Wendy Z. M.
The wonderful journey it is taking my daughter and all the other students on... seeking community by learning and honoring the gifts within their souls. God is good!

Raelin K.
All the amazing people here, the opportunities to grow and help others do the same, and most importantly, the insanely good corn puns.

Kaylana Bell
It became a second home, not just a school.

Leah B. J.
It endures through time and geography. I was a third-generation Cobber and our son will be a fourth-generation next fall...the legacy is a part of the story. #solideogloria

Emma E.
I have learned how to ask questions and think critically about the world around me.

Jay D.
The lifelong friendships and intellectual curiosity I formed while I was there.

Marah M.
I’ve been part of numerous communities that grow, and make campus more excellent every day!

Brian D.
The AMAZING people.

I forever have a place besides my house to call "home." I met AND married my husband on Concordia's campus, many of my family have attended and worked at Concordia, and every time I play a recording of a Concordia concert my 3-year-old asks, "Is that your friends mommy?" I get the privilege and honor of saying, "It sure is." Thank you Concordia, for giving me a second home, and for leaving me with memories, experiences, and friends I will cherish for a lifetime!

Karen O.
The welcoming arms of the college for my daughter when she started her schooling, her subsequent degree, and a job with the college that she LOVES. Cannot be more thankful!

Emily H.
The Cobber connection! I can’t tell you how many conversations I’ve had with complete strangers just because one of us noticed the other’s Cobber ring! The connection was also instrumental in my job search. I would not have found such a good fit right out of college without it!

Stacy L. S. C.
The fantastic education that helped prepare me for not only my career path, but for a life that hasn't always followed the plan I had. The well-rounded education prepared me to succeed in various roles instead of just one. I also met my husband there and cemented friendships that have lasted a lifetime.

Alicia S. B.
Friends. Music. Travel. But, I’m thankful to be part of the Concordia community because of Dr. Lell, who got me on the crazy path to a PhD in Early Modern Lit and Shakespeare on film. I finished my degree after his passing, but I know he’d smile about it.

Yvette P. S.
My son is the first in my family to attend a college away from home. He is the first in the family that has received a presidential scholarship for his hard work. He is the true meaning of leadership.

Ryan F.
It has allowed me to network with people from around the world and it helped me create friendships that I will cherish for the rest of my life!

Mike R.
All the friends, professors, teammates, coaches, and all the other people that make Concordia great.

Rose B.
The people are so wonderful! I met lifelong friends there and it was such a supportive environment with top notch learning opportunities! I learned so much about life as a Cobber!

Carly G.
It’s a lifelong support system! If I need anything at all, I can go to a Cobber to help me out and I’ll get all the help/advice/support I need.

Desiree C.
I really do feel like I’m part of a global community!

We have so many opportunities to make our college experience bigger; with travel opportunities, engaging teachers, performances and athletics we are able to earn and experience the world to make us better BREWers.

@tatumdalilah
While a lot of us feel welcomed, accepted, and at home here, we recognize that there is still more to be done to make this place a better community for all and we work to make this campus and the world a better place for everyone by encouraging critical thinking about other perspectives and encouraging students to take action.

I was put here for a reason. Being able to be a part of many things at Concordia like choir, band, and even Res Life has allowed me the opportunity to stretch my horizons in ways I could not have imagined. I am thankful for my friends and family at Concordia and the way they have helped me shape my world view thus far as well as the awesome opportunity to study abroad this semester. In a nutshell, I’m thankful for my Concordia fam because I couldn’t imagine who I would be or where I would be without them.

@23karalee
It has given me the coolest opportunities and allowed me to meet some of my best friends.

It has given me a family away from my family and is providing me the best pathway to my future. It is not just a college, it is a home and community made from one big family.
