Concordia College and Trollwood Performing Arts School have partnered to create a clear pathway for students who participate in Trollwood’s summer programs to continue their artistic and academic journey at Concordia.

Through this partnership, eligible students can earn scholarships that recognize their work at Trollwood while opening doors to additional opportunities at Concordia. Additionally, students who receive a Trollwood scholarship will automatically advance past the preliminary round of Concordia’s competitive music scholarship process and, upon completion of a live audition, can be considered for the prestigious Christiansen Award (valued at $26,500 per year*).

Vocal scholarship recipients must participate in a Concordia major vocal ensemble and take private lessons, instrumental students must perform in a Concordia band or orchestra and take private lessons, and theatre scholarship recipients must participate in at least one Concordia production each year.

Looking Ahead: Internship Opportunities

Plans are underway to offer a paid summer internship at Trollwood Performing Arts School for Concordia students. Additional details will be shared as the program develops.

The pilot year of the Concordia College-Trollwood Performing Arts School partnership is for first-year students entering Concordia in Fall 2027; details may evolve in future years.

*The Christiansen Award replaces all other Concordia scholarships due to its high value.
