After three long years, the COVID Helpline is shutting down. With that, there are a few updates to the COVID response plan.

  • After Friday, May 5, the COVID Helpline will no longer be staffed, and calls and emails will not be monitored.
  • To report positive cases, students should contact the Health Services Office at 218.299.3662. Employees should notify their supervisors as well as Human Resources at 218.299.3339 or hr@cord.edu.
  • The website, cord.edu/COVID, will remain active as the go-to resource for COVID-related information.
    • Reminder, if you test positive, you will need to isolate for five days but can return to normal activities if you are masked for five additional days.
  • After supplies run out, the college will not be restocking its supply of free COVID tests.

Throughout the summer, the COVID Response Team will continue to evaluate what protocols will be in place for the fall semester. Those decisions will be shared in a future Cobweb.

We’d like to extend our deep appreciation to all the people who worked on the COVID Helpline team. Their efforts were an enormous help in keeping the college running as smoothly as possible through the pandemic. We could not have done it without them!

Thank you,

COVID Response Team
