Recruitment and Application Review (Sept. 13, 2022)

Dear Concordia Faculty, Staff, and Students,

With the fall semester well underway, I write to provide an update on the search for the next President of Concordia College. Recruitment has been on-going since the start of the summer and our partners at Academic Search report a strong response. They have had conversations with many highly qualified prospective candidates and are pleased with the diverse experience and backgrounds of those who have expressed interest in the position. They also note that candidates have incredible respect for Concordia and are excited about the opportunity to join our engaged and student-centered community.

Many of you have taken time to recommend people within your own networks, and I am grateful for your interest and engagement in the search. You may continue to send suggestions to ConcordiaPresident@academicsearch.org. The position is open until filled, but only applications received by October 2, 2022, can be assured full consideration.

The Presidential Search Committee will begin reviewing applications this month and then start narrowing the field of candidates soon after the deadline in October. I will continue to update you at significant points as the search process unfolds this fall.
