Medical College of Wisconsin 3+3 Program

Concordia’s chemistry department offers a dual-degree accelerated pharmacy program in partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin. Students will complete three years of coursework at Concordia as they pursue a major in biochemistry or biosciences with a pharmacy concentration. The next three years of study will be at MCW to complete their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) coursework. In just six years, students will earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin.

How it Works:

  1. Apply. Submit your application during your freshman or sophomore year at Concordia (by the end of January).

  2. Interview. Participate in an Early Entrance Interview with MCW pharmacy faculty.

  3. Provisional Admission. Upon acceptance, receive provisional admission to the Pharm.D. program.

  4. Remain on Track at Concordia. Stay enrolled full time at Concordia (minimum 12 credits per semester) and complete all Concordia Core, degree, and major coursework in the approved 3+3 program plan.

  5. Prerequisites. Complete all pharmacy prerequisite courses within three consecutive years.
