Automatic Admission

Concordia has partnered with several school districts to offer students Automatic Admission. We work closely with staff at your high school to identify seniors who meet Concordia’s admission standards.

Eligible students will receive notifications from your school and/or Concordia about next steps.

If you have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher by your senior year and attend an Automatic Admission Partner High School, you are guaranteed admission (and a scholarship!) to Concordia College, and you can skip the regular admission process.

To move forward in the process, you’ll fill out a short Acceptance Form to indicate your interest in the program.

No. Filling out the Acceptance Form simply indicates your interest in the program and in learning more about Concordia College. We’ll send you more information about academics, extracurriculars, costs, scholarships, and financial aid — and we encourage you to visit campus — all so that you can determine if Concordia is the right school for you.

If you’re eligible for Automatic Admission at Concordia College, you will be offered an Excellence Scholarship of at least $13,000 per year. Your high school GPA determines your Excellence Scholarship level. Find your scholarship amount here.

Concordia offers a number of additional merit-based scholarship opportunities, and you are encouraged to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) so we can offer you a complete financial aid package. Concordia’s FAFSA code is 002346.

We work closely with students and families to customize a financial aid package to make a Concordia education attainable to anyone who can see themselves as a Cobber. Many students and families are surprised to learn that Concordia’s average net cost is similar to the national average for public institutions.

Seniors attending an Automatic Admission Partner School with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher and who will enter college in Fall 2027 are eligible. Concordia College is currently piloting the Automatic Admission program in partnership with several schools. Later this year, we will evaluate the program along with our school partners for classes entering college in 2028.

We consider students from a broad range of academic backgrounds. If you are interested in Concordia College, we want you to apply! Not being part of the Automatic Admission program just means that we’d like to get a little more information about you, which we’ll do through our regular admission process.

Yes, the deadline is in November or December and varies by school. Check with your Concordia College admission rep or refer to your Automatic Admission letter for deadline information.
