Greek and Roman Studies Minor

The requirements for a minor in Greek and Roman Studies are 20-32 credits.

Required Courses

Additional Requirements

One course in Philosophy (4 credits if PHIL 311 – Ancient Philosophy is taken)

Language courses:

  • LAT 111 – Fundamentals of Latin I, 4 credits AND 
  • LAT 112 – Fundamentals of Latin II, 4 credits OR
  • GRK 211 – Beginning Greek I, 4 credits AND 
  • GRK 212 – Beginning Greek II, 4 credits

Other courses, including inquiry seminars, online courses, PEAK experiences, and international study may also qualify with approval of the Greek and Roman studies department.
