After a previous career in pharmacy, Robert earned a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Oklahoma. His research interests are in empirical corporate finance and healthcare finance. Robert is a CFA charterholder and serves on the board of directors of Stillwater Flight Center. In the classroom, Robert’s teaching philosophy emphasizes learning over memorization and connecting course material to real life.
