Academic Affairs
The services and programs provided under the Office of Academic Affairs are intended to help deliver an integrated student-learning environment and to enhance the total learning experience at Concordia.
Reporting to the Provost and Dean of the College are the Associate Provost for Faculty Development and Academic Advancement, the School of Arts and Sciences, the Sanford Heimarck School of Health Professions, the Offutt School of Business, Library, Grant Development and Sponsored Programs, Center for Holistic Health, Center for Student Success, Global Learning, Information Technology Services, Graduate Studies, Continuing Education, and the Registrar.
Faculty Recognition
The Reuel and Alma Wije Distinguished Professorship Award is awarded biennially to a distinguished member of the faculty who has served the college and the church for a considerable length of time (15 years or more).
The Ole and Lucy Flaat Distinguished Teaching Award is given annually to a Concordia College faculty member to recognize excellence in teaching.
The Ole and Lucy Flaat Distinguished Scholarship Award is given biennially to a Concordia College faculty member to recognize excellence in scholarship within the context of a liberal arts college.
