Beth Renner was a scholarship recipient and a 1991 Concordia graduate with a major in business administration and a minor in psychology. She had over a 30-year career in the financial services industry.

She considered herself a lifelong learner as she continued her learning after college by obtaining a master’s degree in management and numerous industry certifications and credentials.

In addition to her professional career, she always believed in the value of giving back to her community. She was very involved in volunteering her time, talent and treasures to local and national nonprofits through board involvement and fundraising initiatives.

She was the 7th of 8 children in her family and the first to have the privilege of obtaining a college degree. If you were to ask her to describe the value of her Concordia education, she would simply say “It changed the trajectory of my life.”

The Beth A. Renner ’91 Endowed Scholarship is awarded by the Office of Financial Aid to one or more students of any class or major based on financial need.
