A Message from Coach Hedin:
Greetings Cobber Men's Soccer Alumni,
We are excited to kick off the 2024 season of Cobber Men’s Soccer!
This season promises to be a huge addition to our program’s history, and I am thrilled to welcome 12 new additions into the Cobber Soccer family as incoming players this year. Guiding them on their journey will be a senior class that is nine strong! A powerful mix of youth and experience is going to be a key part of our identity this year.
We are blessed to have our longest preseason in three years (seven whole days before orientation starts versus two and three, the previous two years). Following preseason camp, our squad starts the season with a couple of exciting road trips. We open with a pair of games on Labor Day weekend at Colorado College (finished ranked #6 in the last poll of 2023). Upon flying back, we then head south the following weekend to play another doubleheader at Nebraska Wesleyan. These tough away games should let us be battle tested by the time we host St. Scholastica on Sept. 17 for the MIAC opener.
