Friends of Cobber Women’s Basketball,
We are thrilled to kick off another exciting year of Cobber Women’s Basketball! Building on our stellar performance last season — appearing in another MIAC Championship game and earning an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament — we are more determined than ever to reach new heights. Our team also led the MIAC in attendance for the second consecutive year and achieved the #1 team free throw percentage in the country!
We are proud to announce the return of 15 dedicated student-athletes, including MIAC All-Conference award winners Makayla Anderson and Carlee Sieben. Our rigorous non-conference schedule has been pivotal in our postseason success. This year, we are set to face some of the toughest opponents, with games in Wisconsin and a post-Christmas tournament at the 2023 national champion Transylvania University in Kentucky.
