Friends of Cobber Track & Field,

We are thrilled to kick off another exciting year of Cobber Women’s Track & Field!

The new season will feature our NEW OUTDOOR TRACK! We know winter can get long but it’s really neat to know once we are outside we will have the new track waiting for us to train and play. The team is excited to have our first home outdoor meet since 2019. We invite you to check us out near the end of our outdoor season and the day before Concordia Graduation for The Cobb Open on May 3. It’s going to be awesome!

Also, our team is going to be awesome! We are a young team determined more than ever to reach the pinnacle of the MIAC. We return all seven athletes who contributed three individual MIAC wins and five school records. We return all but a single point from the 2024 MIAC Outdoor Championships. Add an excellent freshman class to a pair of veterans returning from injuries, and we feel good about our chances to mix it up with the top teams in the MIAC. We invite you to St. John’s for the Indoor MIAC Championships Feb. 28-March 1, the MIAC Outdoor Championships May 9-10 at Macalester, and any meet convenient for you. We host our indoor home meet Jan. 25 in Olson Forum.

We’re reaching out today in hopes that you will partner with us to help enhance our athletes’ experiences. We encourage your generous support to help us with large equipment needs associated with the daily practices and the needs of our new outdoor track. The new track needs new pole vault and high jumps pits, hurdles and steeplechase barriers, throwing cage netting, and start blocks. If everyone contributes a little, it adds up to make a big difference. Your contribution will go directly to our program.

Thank you for considering a donation and for all you’ve done to support our teams — attending meets, sending casual greetings and notes, or simply following our teams online or through social media!

Roll Cobbs!
