Alumna Co-Founds Company in Boulder

Cobber Connections: Members of Rule4 take a break during a shift volunteering at the Denver Rescue Mission.

Haley (Groce) Berry ’03 recently co-founded Rule4, a cybersecurity and emerging technology consulting company in Boulder, Colo., with Trent R. Hein, Dan Mackin, Paul Nelson and Chris Rossi.

The boutique firm specializes in cybersecurity for artificial intelligence/machine learning and big data environments, industrial Internet of Things, biomed, site reliability engineering, strategic technology planning, cybersecurity effectiveness and automation.

As part of her role as the vice president of client service, Berry is spearheading Rule4’s certification as a B Corporation, which means Rule4 places people before profit and is held to the highest verified standards of transparency, accountability, and social and environmental performance.

After graduating from Concordia, Berry spent 12 years in the book publishing industry before making the leap to information technology. While at Concordia, she was a proud member of the first Cobber women’s soccer team to make the MIAC playoffs.
