CONCORDIA CELEBRATION OF STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

Brings back the in-person, live event for 2022

On April 6, students will present their research and creative scholarship during the all-day student symposium Celebration of Student Scholarship (COSS) at Concordia College. As a part of the day, awards are given for emerging leadership and mentorship.

The Celebration of Student Scholarship provides undergraduate students from all disciplines and levels of experience the opportunity to present high-quality research, scholarship, and creative works in a public venue, to connect with alumni, and to explore the intersections of research, vocation, and career preparation. COSS invites students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the broader community to engage with student presenters as they showcase their achievements through research and creative scholarship projects of all types fostered at Concordia College.

The day includes two poster sessions, four concurrent sessions, a senior art show, various department and program sessions, and awarding of the President Pamela M. Jolicoeur Endowed Memorial Scholarship and the Mentor of the Year Award.

Events take place throughout the day in various locations on campus beginning at 9 a.m. A schedule of events can be found at ursca.org/coss.

Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering more than 50 majors, including 17 honors majors and 13 preprofessional programs.
