Mission Statement

We are dedicated to advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work at Concordia through (1) creating belonging specifically for those who experience marginalization and oppression, (2) providing advocacy to address systemic barriers on campus and in our local communities, and (3) hosting educational opportunities for members of our campus community to expand their understanding of DEI topics.

The DEIC is committed to honor the uniqueness of each individual, to embrace diverse backgrounds, to advocate for equitable and inclusive communities, and to create opportunities for students to develop intercultural competencies.
