Orchestra Auditions
With the two orchestras that Concordia offers, you'll be sure to find your place among these great ensembles.
Regardless of experience and/or ability, there is a place for all interested instrumentalists to make music at Concordia College.
Please note: Additional costs of membership in The Concordia Orchestra include purchasing concert black. The cost of concert attire is typically between $70 and $150. Fittings will take place during the first three days of classes.
To assist you in preparing your audition, please thoroughly read all of the information below.
Symphonia Auditions
String players in Symphonia are not required to audition. However, new students are encouraged to play a scale and solo piece of their choice at auditions at the start of the year. The orchestral excerpts below are not required.
Both Symphonia and The Concordia Orchestra require an audition for wind, brass, and percussion players – excerpts can be found here.
