Concordia alumni know the great distinction of a Concordia degree and the wonderful academic and community experience students have on campus. The Alumni Referral Grant program invites alumni to share their experience with high school and transfer students who could benefit from becoming a Cobber.

Students who have been referred by a Concordia College graduate will receive a $500 Alumni Referral Grant. The grant is renewable for three additional years — totaling a $2,000 benefit to the student during their time at the college.

Students referred by alumni also will be invited to a special event on campus. The event includes a campus tour and opportunities to meet with faculty from their academic programs of interest, coaches, and directors of music and fine arts programs. Students will also be provided a special visit T-shirt and a meal at the Anderson Commons dining center.

There is no limit to the number of students alumni can refer to the college, so you don’t have to wait until students are seniors to provide the referral. We look forward to sharing the Concordia story with outstanding prospective Cobbers of any age from across the country.

The student will receive an email from the Concordia College Office of Admission informing them they have been referred by a graduate, thus making them eligible to receive the $500 annual grant. The student will also be encouraged to apply for admission in the fall of their senior year and invited to campus for a tour with a current student.

Any prospective student not currently enrolled at the college is eligible to receive the referral grant provided the referral form is completed by Dec. 31 of their senior year in high school.
