NDSU 3+4 Pharmacy Program

Concordia’s chemistry department offers a dual-degree accelerated pharmacy program in partnership with North Dakota State University. Students will complete their first three years at Concordia as they pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in biosciences with a pharmacy concentration before transitioning to their coursework at NDSU to complete both a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmaceutical sciences and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from NDSU. In seven years or less, students will earn two bachelor’s degrees and a PharmD degree.

A Liberal Arts Foundation for Pharmacy Careers

By starting their education at Concordia, students benefit from small class sizes, the opportunity to be involved in clubs and extracurricular activities such as music, sports, or theatre, and experience a student-focused, active-learning environment while building a strong academic foundation for professional study in pharmacy.

Dr. Susan Larson, Provost and Dean of Concordia

This partnership is a powerful example of how institutions can work together to meet the evolving needs of students and the communities we serve. By aligning our strengths, we’re creating a seamless academic experience that prepares students for high-demand careers in pharmacy.
