Financial Aid Timeline
Concordia's admission and financial aid teams take a collaborative approach to preparing a student's aid.
In addition to the information you just shared on the scholarship application, our aid experts will review FAFSA data and compile the best possible award for your family. Comprehensive awards are sent on a rolling basis and typically start going in the mail to first-year students around Dec. 15.
BREW Scholarships: Notification of the value of a student's BREW Scholarship is sent via postal mail within a few weeks of completing the application.*
*Students who indicated intent to apply for a Talent Scholarship will not be informed about BREW Scholarships until they have completed all components of the talent application process.
Diversity Scholarships: Notification of receipt of this scholarship will be included with a student's comprehensive aid award. The financial aid team typically starts generating comprehensive awards for first-year students around Dec. 15.
Talent Scholarships: Application deadline is Jan. 1. The process varies depending on which scholarship(s) a student is competing for, but notification of award value should occur in late January/early February.
Gold Scholarships: Eligible students (at least a 3.9 GPA or 29 ACT) will receive an invitation to compete for this $25,000 award. Semi-finalists will be notified on Monday, Jan. 11.
Excellence Scholarships: These automatic awards are determined by transcript/test score at the time of application. Notification of award amount is sent within seven days of admission acceptance letter.
