Annika Seedborg was hired in the summer of 2024 as the first full-time head coach in the history of the Cobber softball program.
Seedborg was the team's pitching coach for the 2024 season before being hired as the head coach on August 5, 2024.
In addition to her position as assistant coach for the Cobbers, Seedborg was also the Director of Player Operations and Development as well as the head coach for the Under 16 travel team for the Fargo-Moorhead Blaze fastpitch organization for two years. In her position as Director of Player Operations, she managed all practices, league competitions, tournaments, and off-season training for all of the Fargo-Moorhead Blaze programs.
Before coming to Concordia, Seedborg was the assistant coach at Valley City State for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
Seedborg played collegiately at Mayville State University from 2019-2022. She earned NorthStar All-Conference Honors in 1999. She was also captain for the Comets for multiple seasons.
Seedborg graduated from Mayville State in 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology.
Seedborg is also responsible for the oversight of competitive club sports, as well as game management duties for the other home contests at Concordia.
