Danielle Gravon is an art historian of early modern print with a special interest in maps. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art and German at Concordia College, a Master of Fine Arts and Master of Arts in printmaking, history, and theory of contemporary art at the San Francisco Art Institute, and a Master of Arts and doctorate in art history at the University of Manchester. Currently, she is the chief curator and director of collections and exhibitions at the Plains Art Museum in Fargo, North Dakota. Prior to joining the Plains Art Museum, she was the director of art exhibitions and collections at Minnesota State Moorhead. She has taught studio art and art history courses at several universities, including the University of Manchester, Concordia College, Minnesota State Moorhead, and M State.
