Joey Fodstad started as an assistant coach for the Cobbers after serving as a student assistant for the 2023-24 season.
Fodstad played for the Cobbers for two seasons in 2022 and 2023.
Fodstad is from Rogers, Minn., and played junior hockey for the Minnesota Mullets (USPHL Premier), Rochester Grizzlies (NA3HL), and the Minnesota Wilderness (NAHL).
