The Office of Community Engagement and Integrative Learning promotes opportunities for Concordia students to integrate their learning in real-world contexts, practice skills necessary for engaged citizenship, and develop the mindset necessary to navigate a changing, diverse world. Integrative learning is central to the educational experience at Concordia. The director of community engagement and integrative learning assists faculty and students with making and maintaining connections with community partners.

What is Integrative Learning?

Integrative learning means making connections across disciplines, uniting theory and practice, and enriching academic study with community engagement. Through IL, students develop competencies that promote continued integration beyond their undergraduate degree.
