The program is designed to be completed in four consecutive semesters (one summer course prior to the first fall semester, and one summer in between) as a full-time student.

Deposit

Students are required to make a $300 nonrefundable deposit to hold a seat in the program. The deposit will be applied to the first fall tuition payment.

  • Academy Membership Fee (annual cost): $60
  • Background Check (one-time cost): approx. $150
    (includes immunizations, fingerprinting, etc.)
  • Technology (to successfully participate in distance education courses, a laptop or comparable device with reliable internet access is required. The device must be capable of supporting course-related software, virtual meetings, and other online learning platforms utilized by the program): approx. $750 + $50 per month
  • Textbooks (one-time cost): approx. $700
  • Housing (monthly): approx. $600 per renter
  • Transportation (a personal vehicle is required)
  • Fuel (for travel to and from supervised practice rotations): approx. $400

Program Funding

Thanks to a very generous Concordia alumna and spouse, Janet and George Dahlman, Concordia dietetic interns’ registration, airfare, and lodging to attend the Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo (FNCE) are covered.

In-School Deferment

Students may be able to apply for an in-school deferment while enrolled in the combined DI/MS program.
