'Cinderella' to light up the stage at Concordia College

Concordia Theatre presents “Cinderella (Cendrillon),” a chamber opera by Pauline Viardot, translated by Rachel Miller Harris, running Feb. 12-15 in the Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre.

Originally premiering in Viardot’s Paris Salon in 1904, “Cinderella (Cendrillon)” is being performed in conjunction with the Concordia Opera, under the direction of Dr. Robin Griffeath, featuring choreography by Mariah Schafer.

“Cinderella (Cendrillon)” will begin at 8 p.m. Feb. 12-14 and 2 p.m. Feb. 15 in the Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre. Doors open 20 minutes before each performance. Tickets are available at the door or online at www.ticketsource.us/Concordia-College-Theatre. The box office opens one hour before each performance.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and free for Concordia faculty and staff, alumni, high school prospective students, as well as students of North Dakota State University, Minnesota State Moorhead, M State, and North Dakota State College of Science.
