Dr. Nat Dickey, professor of trombone, will perform a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, in Christiansen Recital Hall in the Hvidsten Hall of Music, Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota.
The program will include original works for trombone by Enrique Crespo, Camille Saint-Saëns, James Stephenson, Vincent Persichetti, Kenley Kristofferson, and Sonya Leonore Stahl. Dickey will be joined by Andrew Steinberg on piano for several selections and Dr. Eduard Teregulov on cello for the Stahl work. Steinberg is the organ instructor and choral accompanist, and Teregulov is assistant professor of cello and double bass at Concordia College.
In addition to teaching trombone, Dickey is chair of the Concordia music department, principal trombone of the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony, and trombonist with Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome and The Skipjacks.
